This site covers Midget and Junior C Southwest Zone hockey teams.
Following is a description of the Categories in SWZ Hockey.
Midget
The Midget program is open to players under 18 as of Dec. 31, 2008, born in years 1991, 1992 or 1993.
The SWZ Midget teams participate in EMHA Federation Hockey. In 2006/07 a total of 10 SW Zone Oil Kings Midget teams played in 8 different divisions.
Registration fees for 2008/2009 are $475.
Junior B
The SW Zone Junior B team, the Edmonton Royals, compete in the (Capital Junior Hockey League).

The Junior B program is open to players aged 20 or less Dec 31, 2008.
Junior C — SWZ Oil Kings
The SW Zone Junior C Oil Kings compete in the Noralta Junior Hockey League.
The Junior C program is open to players aged 20 or less Dec 31, 2008.
SWAT Minor Hockey (Federation Hockey)

- Peewee
- Bantam
There are 22 league games and a minimum of 22 practices.
Teams are formed based on the SWAT Tiering and Evaluation Process.
